Abbots Cone 6 Transparent Glaze
An exceptionally useful glossy transparent glaze for firing between 1180C and 1250C.
 
This low-expansion glaze will fit most clay bodies and can easily be adjusted if required.
Takes stains well (depending on temp) and is a brilliant choice for use with underglaze paints fired within this range.
 
It suspends well when set at around 1420g/l density. 
Use Epsom Salt as a flocculant if desired.
Can easily be converted into a brushable glaze if dispersed in a suitable medium.
Abbots Cone 6 Transparent is safe to use on food contact surfaces.
